OpsBeacon Connect
CRM, SMS campaigns, automation, and a true two-way texting inbox that works alongside FranPOS without replacing your POS.
FranPOS is useful for running the store. Customer marketing inside the same workflow can be difficult to configure, and promotional messages can get tangled with the texts a store uses for confirmations, reminders, and service updates.
When promotional and operational communication depend on the same messaging channel, an opt-out can disrupt the communication workflow a store relies on.
OpsBeacon Connect gives the store a dedicated CRM and SMS platform that works alongside FranPOS. Keep FranPOS for the POS and scheduling. Use Connect for the customer CRM, campaigns, automation, and conversations.

Connect is a FranPOS SMS marketing alternative for stores that want a separate customer communication layer. It is not a FranPOS replacement, and it is not an endorsement by FranPOS.
Import the customers you already have, then pick up new customers with an incremental sync. Appointment activity can refresh visit segments on a short window. FranPOS does not provide a verified customer webhook, so edits and deletes in FranPOS are not mirrored automatically.
That separation matters for pet grooming marketing and franchise customer marketing: retention texts, reactivation, and two-way SMS live on a dedicated business text inbox.
The normal low-volume path collects your business and program details, registers the brand and campaign, assigns a store number, and waits for carrier approval. You can watch friendly status in Connect. Standard or mixed campaigns that need extra carrier budget still wait for OpsBeacon cost approval. A new Connect store is not asked to call support just to start the low-volume registration.

OpsBeacon Connect is a standalone CRM and customer marketing product. It includes a customer database, SMS and email campaigns, SMS automation, and a two-way text inbox, with its own texting number and consent records.
It is for Woof Gang franchisees and similar service businesses that want clearer customer communication without replacing the point of sale they already use.

Yes. Owners and managers can reply in the SMS Inbox.
Yes. Where the store's SMS relay is enabled, staff can reply by text from the phone number OpsBeacon has on file for them.
Yes, where email-to-SMS is enabled for the store. A reply to the conversation email is sent as the store's text.
Informational consent and marketing consent are separate. A phone number on file is not treated as permission to send marketing texts. STOP and Do Not Contact override marketing sends.
STOP applies to the OpsBeacon Connect texting number. It is recorded as a marketing opt-out and further marketing texts from Connect stop. Because Connect is a separate number from day-to-day FranPOS messaging, that opt-out stays on the Connect program.
You enter the business and program details, acknowledge carrier registration costs, and OpsBeacon submits the standard low-volume registration. The carrier reviews it. When it is verified, the store number can send and receive.
Yes. Each approved store gets a dedicated business texting number.
Yes. SMS automation can follow inactivity and supported customer activity. New automations stay in Approval Required until you approve a send. Email campaigns are built and scheduled in Campaign Builder and use the monthly marketing email allowance.
Yes. After FranPOS is connected, Connect imports customer id, name, mobile, email, and address fields when FranPOS provides them. It does not guess SMS consent from the phone number.
No. OpsBeacon Connect is designed to sit beside an existing POS such as FranPOS.
